Global Health Database Available

HSL is pleased to announce the availability on HealthLinks of the Global Health Database (Ovid interface, 1 concurrent user). This database covers the issues of international public health by indexing over 3500 serials, books, book chapters, conference proceedings and patents. It uses the CAB Thesaurus for subject terms and British spelling in its abstracts.

Global Health is split into two files (1973-present and 1912-1972). To search them at the same time, once connected to one file, click on "Change Databases," Select "More than One Database," and put checks in the boxes next to each of the files. HSL is working on a jump start to both files. For more information, check with your libraries liaison or connect to the database field guide .
