UW Libraries is holding a trial for RefWorks, an online personal citation database and bibliography creator for importing, storing, formatting, and sharing research citations. RefWorks is similar to EndNote and Pro-Cite, but rather than being installed on your desktop, it is entirely web-based!
Please check out the RefWorks trial, and use our quick feedback form to help us evaluate this resource.
The Library's entrance is a door (T-334) on the 3rd floor of the Health Sciences Building. The door is located at the east end of the building off the inner Nursing Courtyard.
Off-hours, this is the only unlocked entrance to the building. To move between these corridors or enter through one of the other building entrances, you must carry photo ID and an access card. Your health sciences department can request an access card for you; there may be a fee. All others must proceed to the T-wing courtyard entrance from NE Pacific St.
After hours, if you do not have an access card, HSL suggests you park in the C-10 parking lot behind Anderson & Bloedel Halls. Walk to the Burke-Gilman Trail and follow it east (left) to the crosswalk on NE Pacific St by the bus shelter. After crossing the street, T-334 is up the stairs and to the west (right). Do not use the overpass to the 4th floor of the Health Sciences Building because it will be locked. Alternatively, you can park in E-11 or E-12 (by Husky stadium) and walk west on NE Pacific St to reach the stairs to the courtyard. Those parking in S-1 (behind the Health Sciences building) must walk around the building and then east on NE Pacific St to approach the courtyard unless you have an access card.
Parking can be scarce and traffic heavy on football days. Consult the schedule so you know what to expect. You may wish to use public transportation.
On Monday, 18 September 2006, HSL resumes its Autumn Quarter hours.
