Clinical Queries, based on research done at McMaster University, allows clinicians to quickly limit search retrieval to scientifically sound and clinically relevant study reports indexed in CINAHL Plus. Available as a 'Refine Search' option, searches can be refined using specific search strategies designed to produce results in five research areas:
As research may require different emphasis, three strategies are provided for each area.
A Clinical Queries function is also available in the PubMed and EMBASE databases.
MedlinePlus, NLM's database of authoritative health information for consumers, has a new multilingual feature. The new feature provides access to high quality health information in languages other than English and Spanish, benefiting people who prefer to read consumer health information in their native language. It also helps the information professionals and health care providers who serve them.
The new collection contains over 2,500 links to information in more than 40 languages and covers nearly 250 Health Topics. Access the multilingual feature from the MedlinePlus homepage or go directly to www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/languages/languages.html.
